Covid Task Team Update - May 14, 2021
New CDC guidelines relating to vaccination, masking, and distancing were released May 13, 2021. We recommend that you follow CDC guidelines, however, please follow your local city or county guidelines if they are more restrictive than the CDC guidelines. A graphic of the new CDC recommendations is below.
The State of Wisconsin is currently updating their guidance to conform with the new CDC information. Wisconsin guidance is found at: https://www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/covid-19/community.htm
To determine any local or county-specific orders, please check by going to your County Department of Health webpage for COVID-19 information.
We encourage anyone who is eligible to receive the vaccine to do so. Not only will it protect the individual who receives it and help to stop the spread of COVID-19, but those who are fully vaccinated are no longer required to quarantine if they are a close contact of someone who tests positive for the virus.
- Visit Vaccines.gov to find vaccination providers near you.
- Text your zip code to 438829 or call 1-800-232-0233 to find vaccine locations near you.
